One house can therefore need three quite different treatments, from a curved bay track to a wide motorised blind over roof glazing. Many Fulham homes are family houses that are lived in hard. Fabric durability, washable voiles, child-safe blind controls and blackout for small bedrooms come up as often as appearance does, so we specify for the way each room is actually used. ### Fulham is part of our London coverage We cover Fulham alongside Kensington, Chelsea and Belgravia, working from Marsh Road in Pinner and managing the whole process from consultation to installation. ### Visits and parking Appointments are agreed with you around residents' parking zones. Dates are confirmed at booking. ### Property types we work with here Victorian and Edwardian terraces with canted bays, mansion flats near the river, converted maisonettes with shared walls, loft conversions with Velux-style or dormer windows, and side-return extensions with roof glazing. ### What Fulham homes usually ask for Bay-window curtains on bent tracks, Roman blinds for kitchens and dormers, blackout for children's rooms, motorised blinds over roof lights and bi-fold doors, and reupholstered window seats in the bay. ## Services available in Fulham ### Premium Bespoke Curtains Curtains for canted Fulham bays, made so each panel hangs evenly around the angles rather than bunching at the corners. Read more ## Why choose us in Fulham ### Bays measured angle by angle Each facet of a bay is measured separately, with the track bent to the actual angles rather than an assumed standard, so curtains run cleanly round the corners. ### Old and new in one house Period fronts and glass extensions need different hardware and fabrics. We specify each room on its own terms while keeping the palette consistent. ### A registered, established business Adey Interiors Ltd, company number 11091485, trades as Curtain & Blind Design and has been transforming properties for over 15 years. ## Window problems specific to Fulham properties ### Canted bay windows that never quite square up The Fulham bay is usually three-sided, but the angles vary from house to house and the side windows are often narrower than they look. Off-the-peg tracks force curtains to bunch at the corners and leave light gaps. We measure each facet, template the angles and specify a bent track or a set of Roman blinds per facet. The choice depends on whether you want the bay open as a seating area or closed as a whole. Read more ### Side-return extensions and roof glazing Glazed roofs and wide bi-folds bring in light but also heat in summer and glare on screens. Without a plan for them, the kitchen becomes the hardest room in the house to use. Motorised blinds grouped onto one control let you shade the whole extension at once. Rechargeable motors avoid chasing cables into a finished room, and the fabric is chosen for light control rather than appearance alone. Read more ### Small bedrooms and early light Back bedrooms and loft rooms in Fulham terraces are often small, with the window close to the bed. A blind inside the recess leaves light gaps at the edges. Fitting blackout outside and above the recess, or combining a blackout blind with curtains, gives genuine darkness without taking floor space. How quickly can you get to Fulham?Specific response and lead times have not been supplied for publication, so visit dates and fitting dates are confirmed with you at booking. What do curtains and blinds cost in Fulham? It depends on window size, fabric, lining or interlining, heading and hardware. Price ranges have not been supplied for publication, so each window is quoted in writing after measuring. Curtains or blinds for a Fulham bay window?Curtains on a bent track close the bay as one, while a Roman blind per facet keeps the bay open as a seat. We advise once we have seen how the room is used. Can you motorise blinds on a glass roof?Yes. Roof and bi-fold blinds can be motorised and grouped, using rechargeable motors where wiring would disturb the finished room. Do you make child-safe blinds?Blind controls are specified to current child safety requirements, and motorised operation removes cords altogether.
